I move mine into a closet for 11 hours/day, then have a fan running to move the air.

my concern with your setup has no air circulation/movement....but likely not a big issue unless they develop PM

Yea I been keeping a close eye on them. Plus I only cover them for about 40 mins. Or so till its dark out.

how about the mornings...as the sun continues to rise earlier until June 22....I fear that could over extend the sunshine hours

I try to maintain the same morning wake-up and evening sleep time, so they get about 13/11 fairly consistently....as I don't want it reverting back to veg mode
 
I just google sunrise for my town and depending on that I'll cover them 12 hours later. Which is what I'm about to do as we speak
