light double ended

I have a double ended light and the heat is a major problem. I used the fan and it works great at night in winter with no heat on but looking for a enclosed vented hood for DE light. I found a expensive option but $225 for a hood is a bit excessive. FYI I already have two led lights which are awesome for veg mostly but adding tent.

You are not supposed to have air flow directly over the DE bulb as this cools the ARC degrading performance. The AC/DE reflectors channel the air through the top of the hood, around the bulb.

Air cooling DE's is not particularly effective compared to SE.
