Light for veg

I'm looking into buying my first 1000watt hood, bulb, and ballist

My question is, what's everyone's opinion on the switchable ones that go from hps to Mh

I have a 5x6 closet I've been having great success with mothering a plant and
Cloning off of her
Basically I'm running out of room for the 2 4ft t5s I have in there and want more light

I Was wondering if i could kill two birds with one stone and grab the switchable
Mh/hps 1000 watt

And if the the 1000watt mh
Would be better than 2 4ft t5 ballists
I have in there now...???

Any comments greatly apreaciated

5 x 6 is too small for a 1000k , 600 at best. go to amazon, I paid like 230$ for a 600 with hood, 2 bulbs, real good deal ballast included

1000watt is rated for 5 x5 i thought. Cooling will become a problem though if ur going from t5's to a 1000w. The switchable dimmable ones are sweet cus u can turn them down to run at lower wattages if temp is an issue.
I would also look into the newer style cmh and double ended lights. The lumen difference seems to be worth the extra money.
At least from what ive read on here.
