Light height question

Just wonder what people think about the height of my light. Right now I can't adjust and it's about 35 inches away from my screen. My tent was quite warm that's why I didn't worrie about it before but my temps are down around 22-23c I also have 3 led panels down lower then my big light I will post a pic of my set up. Basically just wondering if it will be worth it to rig it up so I can drop it down. Oh and it's a 600mh

If my temps are not to warm I run my 600HPS at about 6 to 8 inches off the canopy of mature plants.

Just dropped it down to 18 inches. I couldn't go any lower or it would block out my leds and wouldn't be hitting the whole canopy. Hopefully this will help

About 18” seemed to be the sweet spot for me with a 600w Hortilux Blue mh. Nice flat happy leaves and a good average growth of 1”-2” per day.

I wouldn't go any lower than that with a 600, as your plant is going to get hot and the light spread will diminish, which is not a good thing
I run 2 400's and a 1000 at 32" above canopy in a 6x6 area, and the plants do fine..

Yeah I agree any lower than 18 for me would be to hot and the light wouldn't hit the whole screen. But I'm glad I did drop it down the amount I did
