light heights

ahreet just a quick question my plants are in there second week of flower but i am not sure how close or how far away the light should be off the top of the canopy? at the moment they must be approx 30cm from the top? is this ok i could get it closer as im using an air cooled light box but just not sure, can any1 give me alittle advice please cheers
