okay i've never tried this but the deal is im growing six plants under 16on 8off lights and i was wondering if i could take it up to 24/24 gradually and then take it down to 12/12 to flower kinda like the natural growing light out side how its short and gets to its peak in summer and then progresses back down towards fall or would this hurt my plants im under floros and it really slow growing right now im tthinking this would munipulate the plant into growing faster i need some hortoculturist advice for this one i don't want to fuck my plants up. thanks alot.

I have never heard of that. Sounds like it could be too much stress on the plant changing the light so much. Also I dont think you would want 24hr on 24hr off... Unless you just meant 24hr on all the time then work your way back down... Might force it into hermie. Try it out and start a grow journal so we can track your progress.

yeah 24 on 24 off and the thing is im not flowerin yet and as long as i dont go lower than the flowering light cycle it can't turn hermie the sex is decided at the flowering stage.unless hermies already in the seed dna strand them it wouldn't matter anyway.lets hope it isn't.

Dude, You can stress a plant before flower and it can become hermie. Also, the plants are growing slow because of the amount of light, nutrients or temp not because of the 16/8 light cycle.

Uses the Rollitup profile
While working your way up to 24 hours dark the plants will be induced to flowering. Somewhere around 12 hours of darkness is enough to flip the flowering switch, and with several nights of that in a row she will flower. And any more hours of darkness per night is just a waste of time.
