Light proofing

ok so I've been growing in the same place for over two years and it's been great but I had to move my flower room to a 8x8 box that I built with wood and panda film , but for the life of me I still have small light leaks I've read mixed reviews on the light proofing so just need some experence from ppl that have grown in a closet or whatever that might not have been 100% light proof how did it effect your grow thanx

How do you have a light leak with wood? I'm assuming you did it fast and didn't make everything nice and flush? Because I don't know of a wood that allows light threw
