Light rail speeds

I've been barking up that same tree, but I can't find shit!

I'm playing with a new design (in my head). The lights are stationary, the "cabinet" is cylindrical, but the plants sit on a motorized "Lazy-Susan" powered by a bar-b-que rotissary motor. I figure it's easier to move the plants than it is to move the lights! The biggest stumbling block for me is figuring what "R.P.M." to use. Somebody out there must be up on this info!

I like the moving plant idea.
Thanks! It's put me to sleep many nights, lately, just thinking about it.

Okay, so you and Growtech both favor slow cycling. Have either of you tried faster speeds as an experiment? Are there some "suggestions" or "helpful hints" posted somewhere?

Okay, so you and growtech

light rail 3.5 comes with either a 6rpm or 10rpm motor. when using a light rail you want a time delay at each end this is because the plants in the middle receive more light cuz the light travels over them twice so to even it out the best thing todo is have the delay.
