Is it OK to use my main led grow light on seedlings? It a 250w light that is sometimes even a bit bright for mature plants in my small tent, but was thinking about hanging it far above seedlings and turning brightness down
I run mine dimmed at 24" or so. Light stays on 24/7 for the first week or 2.
Helps keep seedling stretch to a minimum, +more consistent temps and humidity
Yes, you can do that and a watt meter is what I use to dial that in. I only use about 35 watts of my 230 watt light for seedlings and keep the light about 15 to 18 inches up.
