Light Stress?

Have two Auto Tangerine plants going in coco. They aren't looking happy right now. Moved them into my tent with a new and definitely much stronger light. They were under a cheap Amazon blurple light and now they are under a SF2000. They have been given a slightly higher EC feed but not by much. The issue didn't start until they were moved under the different light, and nothing else has changed, so I can only assume it's light stress. Some of the topmost leaves are purpling including the stigmas. I've moved the light as far up as it will fit in the tent.

They've been on 24/0 since they started. With the stronger light would it help alleviate the stress if I switched to a schedule with some dark time? Like 20/4 or 18/6?

I’ve done the same thing, dim it, raise the light, and definitely have a isolating fan on your ladies. If you have recharge feed them with some on your next feed, or some kelp.

Temperature I think is set for 75. Cool central air basement makes me fight for heat. They never had a problem under the old light all through veg. Temperatures were probably in the range of 64-70 the entire grow.

I would have if I could have! Lol. I tossed those two autos into the furnace area with no environmental control and under the old blurple light I had as kind of an experiment just to see if or how they'd grow. The tent had been occupied by 6 girls in flower when I had the idea to try to start these autoflowers.

They already seem to have started to bounce back after the one period of 6 hrs darkness last night. Hope they continue to stay healthy as they are flowering now. Thanks.

I'm guessing that it has more to do with the speed of uptake in the medium under LEDs and not really light stress in the traditional sense where you would see praying and saw leaf curling and or bleaching. I mean look at those trunks, massive. I'd guess they can suck that medium dry within 2.5 days? So yeah by turning the light off for some hours it lets the plants relax. I think if you found the right ppm and automated system you wouldn't see it as bad but I still think letting them rest is vital.

They definitely have some yellowing on the top leaves and purpling in some as well. That and the massive curling starting in the first picture didn't start until moved in the tent and under the new light.

They are in coco so they are being fed daily. They are in 3 gallon pots, but ya definitely the biggest trunks I've gotten yet! Lol. They were getting too much flower nutrients from too much Bud Explosion as well. Cut that back to half what I had started giving them.

The plants have recovered nicely from the light stress of the new lights. Back to a healthy looking green in the canopy. Plants overall health was good enough that I was able to do some defoliation and lollipopped them. Thanks for all the input guys.
