light timer question

i'm about two days into my third week of flower. i got a 600w hps and 6 beautiful girls. right now i have the timer set 10-10. the light just went of and i want to change it to come on from 9-9, which would make it come on an hour earlier tom.
would this make them hermie cuz i can't afford to lose this crop?

Change it to 10-9 for tomarrow then switch to 10-10 the next day, will give you 13 hours of dark tomarrow and 12 after that.

Yes I thought you were going to go from 10-10 strait to 9-9 making its first day in 9-9 an 11 hour night, though even if you did it this way it probably wouldn't be that stressful.
