Lighting advice for new basement growroom

Howdy folks.

Looking for a bit O' advice. I just finished framing a 4x8x7 flower room and a 4x4x7 veg room in my basement.

I'm planning on using 4x6 of the space for the plants with a couple extra feet for fans and movement space. I want to flower 6 plants at a time and plan on doing LST or maybe scrog.

For the flowering lights I purchased 500w and 405w (chrome) Blackstar LEDs. From what I've read they have very mixed reviews, but I bought them of a friend so didn't pay anything close to sticker price. My question - I'm thinking of adding a HPS to the mix (just am fighting some mild buyers remorse on the LEDs and want to ensure good yield. Though I haven't used the LEDs yet so I could be fretting for naught) would adding a 1000w HPS in there be too much? Maybe a 600? Or could I expect some great results sticking a 1k in the middle with the LEDs on the side at a bit of an angle to go for penetration.

Thanks!

You would yield a bunch more. A 1k hps is capable of producing 2lb if you know what you're doing.
