Recently the power company was installing a new transformer by my house and the power was off for about an hour and 20 mins, during my crops 18hrs lights on. Is their anyway this could have negative effects on my plants?
My plants are only seedlings only 4-5 days old and their on a 18/6 cycle.
I also have 1 more question For you guys.. Every once in awhile (not often at all) my electric may go out and back on in a matter of 1-10 seconds. And I know when I turn my ballast off and back on my 1000 watt metal halide it won't turn on, I have to let it cool for about 20 mins till I can turn it on.
So what I want to know When this happens an the electric comes back on should I just leave It alone and let the ballast run by itself, will the light automatically come back on when it has cooled? Or when this happens should I just manually turn everything off and wait 20mins till the light has cooled then turn it Back on? Cause sometimes I am not always around and might not catch this.
I really need help on this and thx in advance!
