Lighting and what I've found

After much deliberation I decided to continue to flower under mh lights. I know the debate between quantity and quality so on and so forth, and decided that the line was to grey to justify another lighting purchase. So here's what I've got. Two mh lights 400w each. Cfl underlighting. With the mh there are two types of bulbs. One with the enhanced red spectrum and one standard bulb (more blue). As time goes on it seems that the colas are reaching toward the blue light rather than the red. Almost that they prefer it. I'm in week 6 flower and am going to cut the red spec out and drop back to the standard in both fixtures.

Anyone else have similar findings? I figure if they like one over the other, why not make em happy.

how has this gone? Im on my second grow with my 400w MH bulb and dont want to risk a big crop (for a 400w bulb). But i want the best/better bulb for a spare/replacement.
