Lighting for veg. and flowering stage

Would it not be a good idea if i use floresent lights for both stages of the plants life? Like T5's and clf's...or is it a must to use differnt kinds of lights for each stage...help me out!

u can definitely use fluorescents for flowering! thats what every other CFL grower does so why can't you? a lot of people are gena suggest using metal halide bulbs but if heat and cost are an issue then u should stick with the fluorescents...
