Lighting Quandary

Hi all. Long time reader, first time poster. A little background before my question: I've previously finished 2 DWC grows with 6x 5 gallon buckets using a 1000W SunMaster Warm Deluxe MH. The harvests were okay. Not as much yield as I had hoped, but it was my first time with hydro so it was a good learning experience. I've moved and am now expanding a bit. I'm going to be growing 10 plants in a 12'x10' area using Titan's Flo-n-Gro system. My question comes down to my lighting options. Since I'm expanding my grow site, I want to use a 2nd light. As I'm not going to have a separate area for flowering vs vegging, I was planning on hanging both a HPS and a MH in the same area. I was trying to keep the wattage the same for both, but I'm not sure how important that would be. Also, 2000W is going to be a little too much heat in my area. I was going to get a 600W MH and HPS but then remembered that 600W MH is not an industry standard. So now I'm leaning towards 2x 600W HPS ballasts and getting a Hortilux Blue as well as a Hortilux Super HPS. Does anyone see any issues with this lighting setup or have any better suggestions? I'm kind of a NOOB when it comes to mixing MH and HPS in the same grow. Thanks for the input.

600's are fine. Industry standard be damned. What industry standard? I was always told that 600's were more bang for the buck. Look into vertical lighting and figure out the heat output and the ac you will need to counter the heat or else get some cool tubes or exhausted hoods and grow horizontal lighting.

By industry standard I just meant that finding a 600W MH bulb is a pain in the ass. That's why I was leaning towards the Hortilux Blue for the blue end of the spectrum. Since the Blue is technically a MH conversion bulb to run on a HPS ballast, it has a lower lumen output. That's why I was wondering if I should go with a Blue and a Super HPS, say "screw it" and go with 2x strictly HPS bulbs, or if there was an alternative or better suggestion that I was missing.
