I have four girls that ive had in veg four two months now and im ready to put them into flower. I've always just switched from 18/6 to 12/12. My question has anyone every slowly reduced the on time by an hour every couple of days to eventually getting to 12/12. Thanks a bunch for any info. Keep smoking RUI

You could but it's a waist of time IMO, I go immediately from 18/6 to 12/12, because it's faster and the plants are like "oh shit! time to flower"

Like I said I've always went right to 12/12 I was just trying to avoid that oh shit its time to flower
I never like my girls to go oh shit, I figure less stress the better. Well thanks for the advice guys. Time to make my dicision

You cannot perfectly duplicate mother nature indoors. The sun reaches it's zenith during the summer solstice and then daylight hours decrease by 2 or less minutes per day until it reaches the winter solstice.

Uhm, okay sounds like a plan, thanks for that little bit of info, much appreciated. Looks like I'm goin straight to 12/12

Flip the switch to 12/12 when the time comes. Don't bother wasting time reducing the hours of light until you reach 12/12. It's completely unnecessary.

One of the things that I do to reduce the stress is feed them veg nutrients for the first week of flower.
