I would like to hijack this thread slightly(Sorry!).

I'm thinking about adding more CFL's to my set up. I currently have a 200w CFL going over my 3days - 2week old plants(they're all in different stages). Would these perhaps be beneficial?

They say thay have an output of 1250 lumens and are only 20watts. Also, would a standard lamp hold these or will I need a specific lamp?

Thanks.

Dude, that many CFL's will be over 620 watts, yes it will work fine but you would get much better results using a 600w HPS

you'll save on electricity, and the light doesn't need to be positioned around because you will have considerably more light penetration.

I don't think it's the best idea, but I've lost my love of CFL's since going HPS.

HSF you need to get yourself down to asda: http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=light+bulb&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=368184 (edit: link doesn't work look for this item on the site: Stick Low Energy 30w = 117w B22 Bayonet Cap Lightbulb)

These bulbs are great, you won't find them cheaper anywhere!

Thanks for that buddy. Will order 4 of them to compliment my 200w CFL.
