lighting qustion?????

i have 2 400 watt mh hps switchable lights my hps bulb recently burnt out and i am budding with the mh are there any draw backs to the mh will i even notice a diffrence and what is the purposs for even switching to the hps. thanks guys looking forward to hearing ur sugestions.

It just wont be as dense. My first grow was under a m/h from start to finish. Not much difference at all.

MH gives less lumens per watt, and in a different spectrum. It will work for flowering, but is not ideal and the buds will be less dense than with HPS, probably produce less but I've never done it myself. A HPS bulb doesn't cost a fortune and you have to consider the end results.

Yes. There would be nothing wrong with that at all. And the difference between the density of the bud from mh and hps is not that much of a difference at all.
