Lighting Technique Opinions Wanted.

I have a 400W HPS that I am starting to flower under. I have both MH and HPS bulbs to choose from, and I was wondering if it might be good to change from a MH to a HPS light every other on/off cycle?

What say ye gentlemen and ladies?

That should work fine. But to get the optimal "Dual Spectrum" effect, I would reccomend HPS for 2 or 3 cycles, then MH for each 3rd or 4th cycle. I would reccomend the same ratio for the use of multiple lights. This is the same basic idea as using "mixed spectrum" CFL's (some 6,500 K's, and some 2,700 K's).

On the other hand, you might want to go with straight Ceramic Metal Halide bulbes and not have to worry about changing them!
