What is the best amount of light for budding your plants..12/12??,,13/11??,,14/10??..For general growing I am using 20 on 4 off and wanted to know which light cycle is better.

all i've ever read/heard is 12/12
i think 18/6 is better for veg though but they both work

I'll stick with 12/12 till I hear a cogent scientific explanation of why anything else would be better. There are a lot of things in growing that can be improved upon, but I just don't think that is one of them.
