Hey folks long term lurker first time poster. I'm freaking out right now . I had a power outage last night and my lights were down for the first 6 hours of their 18/6 light cycles. this pushed them for one day to 12/12 (which will be today, lights will be off at 10pm tonight if i dont change the timer). my question is this if i change my timer tonght so insted of going off at 10 i change it to 4am. thus all that happened is they got 12 hours of dark followed by 18 hours of light again .

i know its probably a bit confusing but basicly all im asking is this

should i just let the plants keep going dont change anything and leave the lights as is what that would do is this

1 week of 18/6
1 day of 12/12
3 more weeks of 18/6

or should i change my light cycle today and leave it changed for the rest of the 18/6 stage like this

1 week of 18/6
1 12 hour off cycle CHANGE TIMER to make it followed by a 18 hour on cycle
3 more weeks of 18/6

naturally plants don't get 18 hours of direct sunlight every day, so they should be fine. Some growers force their plants to show sex by giving them a 12 hour dark period before switching to 12/12, so basically this is what you did.

get them back on their original 18/6 light cycle as soon as possible.. its better to give them more light than dark.. so whenever you would reach your normal lights off time turn them off.. and then turn them on when your normal lights on time would start.. but until you reach that lights off time leave the lights on.. make sense??

Don't touch anything. One day will not hurth them at all. It's like the sun was behind a dark cloud for 6 hrs.
Remember the bigger the veg the bigger the harvest.

If it was me, I'd leave it alone. 1 day won't hurt anything.

edit: to slow sometimes... do what they said.
