no man they are expensive and get to hot, use CFL daylight ones, i also throw in a couple grow lights with my set up .

deff not!!. Used in one of my middle stages of my grow and it just added heat to the room, and it will actually sunburn your plant, then your plant is going to try and protect itself way too much then you just end up with a F-ed up grow. like stoner said deff not!! =) well GOOD LUCK =) with whatever you decide. you could, its possible. just not effectively/worthwhile. like he said up top, if your strapped for cash get some cfls........

Can i use Flood lights to grow?
Yes you can use it. It will depend on the light and how you use it. Floods can come in hps or metal halide. If you remote mount them you are cake.. Here are some links to help you out.
