lights???

Yo im a newbie to all this and right now im only gonna start off wit growing only one plant(dwc bucket set up) and i was wondering wat lights i could use that not gonna burn my shit you kno..i was told if i get 2 75w cfls il be good threw my whole grow is this true??and i was also told if i jus buy two 42w 6500k and three 42w 2500k and use,, 2 42w 6500k and one 42w 2500k in veg and when flowering use all five light bulbs but isnt that like to much heat for one plant?? Please ppl if you got any other methods i can use that wil work threw my whole grow i would reall appreciate it...

I think you're in over your head... FIRST grow and you're going for DWC? Why not a pot of soil? It's MUCH easier...

i always prefer hps as the easiest and most effective way of growing, cfls are ok but nowhere near as good as mh or hps.

you don't have to worry about heat too much with cfls.. they don't put off too much heat, and therefore can be placed about an inch or so away from your babies and not burn them.. yeah, and mixing the k's of the bulbs is ok to do too.. just make sure that in flowering that you have more of the lower k bulbs, the 2700k ones, than you do of the higher 6500k bulbs.. i would say atleast a 2/1 mix, if not more like a 3/1 mix..
just add a lil circulating fan in your room to cool things and to help strengthen your plants.. you could also look into a t5 setup from somewhere like htg supply for some more lumens, and it will only help increase your yeild..
