Lights

Hi . Need help on lights..currently I have 600watt hps lights and was looking at a change to get away from heat problems and high electric use.. but I still want good yeilds. I have stepped up in tent size from a 1.5mt x1.5mtr x2 mtr to a 1.5mtr x2mtr x2.5mtr. .I was going to put 2 600watt hps lights in there along with 3 oscillator fans..air intake and filter but really want to keep heat under check. I plan on 8 plants in the bigger space .so any advice would help .I'm also uk. Many thanks for reading

315 cmh dual spectrum around the £250 mark depends what package you go for. Would only need one maybe 2 decent fans along with your filter and exhaust fan.

^ this is a good idea, slightly less heat, about twice the cost though.

LED/COB is going to be close to the same wattage, but less heat and 3 times the cost of SE HPS.

if your 600 is open hood, you can buy cool tubes pretty cheap

Cool tubes are good, if your tent has sufficient ducting ports, many ive seen dont, i have a 3x3 that does but i dont use a hps at any more. Too expensive to run, i barely notice the running costs anymore.

I have a cool tube 600watt but I really don't like the ducting inside the tent takes up room I could do with tbh.I also have open hood ones .I have 2 tents set up the bigger one at 1.5mtr x2mtr x2.5mtr. And a 1.5mtr x1.5mtr x 2mtr. Looking at veging in the smaller one flower in the big one.the big one does have plenty of port holes. But we're they are there is only 1 window for venting out of and taking in cool air .maybe I'll rig up a air cool unit and Try that
