i was wondering if i were to just use some florescent reptilian lights instead of a HPS light what would the effects be on the plant and bud...

i tried, most put out somthing around ultraviolet A that most reptiles use to produce vitamin D and get calcium gin or somthing

i had fluroecent and 100w reptile light and it was shit fucked up the seedlings imo... browned the shit ouf of the cotyls and its basically dead....

use CFL's they are fine, or walmart get blue fluroecent plant lights to start your seedlings to have rapid growth then just buy a 20$ 150w HPS and run it with the blue fluroecent from wallys
