Hi All,
All my girls are doing fine but one is developing a Mag def. First time using lime in soil and thought that the lime is suppost to buffer the ph as well as keep the mag/cal in check. The plant wit the mag def runoff is 6.8 After doing some research on the net, i read that you have to keep the mag -cal balanced by adding magnisum sulphate! I also read a different place to flush wit a mild strenght nute to clear def? I'm not sure if these are true or not. Should i use Cal/mag Plus or try epson salt! Not sure wat to do at this point. Plant is mid level mag def. look just like pic on chart but not as much yet. Because of the lime in the soil i'm leary of how to go about this fix!!!!!

What kind of lime? Dolomite has a decent amount of Mag in it, Calcitic does not.

I have noticed that the Mag in the dolo isn't available as fast as the Ca and have had to do an Epsom Salts application early on. Never needed to repeat it though once the lime started breaking down a bit more.

I wouldn't use the cal/mag, that would be too much Ca. Do a teaspn of Epsom Salts in a gallon of water and water with it. You could also apply some foliar if you want. I just do the soil drench.

You should see improvement in a few days to a week.

Thankx for a reply Wet,-the lime is called "GardenLime :Ground Dolomitric Limestone"-which reads as i see it - 20% Cal and 11% Mag. I follage fed with 1/4 tsp epsom salt and looks like it may have done the trick, so now if it comes back i'll use it in the soil.
Hey Wet one of my girls is developing wrinkles on most of the leaves and can't figure out y. Deffinitly not over water because i let pot go tottaly dry before
watering , humidity at 50% and temps are 78-85!

My bag reads exactly the same. Did you get it at Lowes? White bag?

Have no idea about the wrinkled leaves, especially with no pic, but I'll bet it's a different strain than the others.
