lime green bud spots

just wondering got my plant into flowering first week and tips of leaves where buds grow area is light green not far of lime colour any ideas....20130822_231640.jpg

havent a clue if male or female yet
plant is red cherry berry

I had that happen when i put my plants on 12/12, i had to move my plants and they stayed in darkness for 24 hours, when i pulled them back out they where lush but lime green bud sites. They corrected themselves but 4 out of 5 where male. Did the plants miss a light cycle?

yeah you really see the new growth more when you start flowering because it has those 2 weeks of stretching and forming those buds.

I would recommend still feeding veg nutes for the first two weeks coz they'll still be using N...alot. That green growth happened on everyone of my plants. I just thought it was more nodes coz it happened in veg so I would suspect its normal.

Agree it's normal, for new growth, during this part of the flowering cycle. All of my plants are doing this (6 strains). There's some shots here, that show the color difference well. Also agree with continuing veg nutes for a few weeks. I am still using 1/3 "dose" of Grow Big, along with Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom.

You should see hairs or balls, in the area where the leaf attaches. Or in the middle of the new growth. Hair, or pistils, is good. Balls is not. And balls and hair is also not a winner :roll: Check some of the "what sex" posts in the forums, there are quite a few pics (and diagrams) in them. As well as descriptions of where to look :blsmoke:

I am new myself and until I seen the difference I was stuck on it, I couldn't tell the difference they will show just give them some time if you cant see it yet :) Any more photos? As to my previous post I believe I had a different situation sorry for my lack of knowledge.
