After having no luck on people giving me ideas about the newer strains, I wanted to ask you all what your personal top 5 is. So I can wade through the posts of stupid links and bs posts to up your count (even saw a mod do it *x*)! To get to your actual strain reccommendations.

please list from 1 to 5, the strain, and what seed bank you got it from. Please no bs posts? Please?

Well here's my top 5 strains.

1. OG Kush

2. Better than yours OG

3. Chem dawg / blue dream tie

4. blueberry headband (I could swear I was a crypt ;))

5. This was a hard one, but since I have smoked for so long, and I smoked this bud yesterday and I still feel a lil high, I am going to give an honorable mention to bumbleberry. Has the transformers bumblebee on it, but it was from humbolt county. Very smelly tasty and the effects are loooong lasting.

Now don't get me wrong here, but isn't tahoe og, just og kush? I read somewhere that the grower of OG kush gave out some seeds or clones to differen't growers and they all renamed it, even though it's the same exact thing. Like Larry og, og kush, tahoe og, and a couple more, are all just og kush... Right?

I'd give it a go. At first I was smoking it, and thought. Oh man, got another one of those lighter strains. But I was just wisked away into sound thought, I actually went to bed cause I was tired, and not just bored..... OH YEAH! I was going to mention LSD, that strain has been pretty consistant when smoking from different growers.

That very well could be. But breeders these days have so many same named strains with different genetics, depends on when you got it too i imagine since now i think Tahoe is called Buddha Tahoe and its crossed with Louie xiii og. But this is the description of tahoe from the 'tude TAHOE OG It is a totally unique seed created by crossing the SFV ogk F3 and hit the TAHOE clone

no, wrong. The original og beans had a couple different phenos and they turned into og kush, sour diesel and chem dawg i beleive. The others are all crosses or hybrids with other strains, or other representations of the original og kush.

Ah I see, so they have genetics from OG kush, but aren't the same exact. No wonder everyone likes the tahoe and other ogs. :D OG KUSH FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, dont quote me on those three strains coming from the bag seed og kush beans from a grateful dead show. but i beleive thats how the story goes. and yeah they are all crosses with og kush or chem dawg of some sort. Or someone that popped a bean from a pack and really found a different keeper pheno or something. But they are for sure not all the exact same.

Wait! You seeded your plant and made a hawaiian headband?!? When you do that how many seeds do you get, and could you hook me up with a couple if I paid for postage? :)

1. sativa2. indica3. some variations and hybrids of both. All these fancy names are just a confusing mess imo.

I have to disagree with you there. The names have meaning. Obviously you'd have to break down the genetic line to really understand each one. But, sativas aren't just sativas, and indicas aren't just indicas. There are multiple variations of each, with varrying effects to each one. When you end up smoking a strain like Mr nice that has no significant effect, then smoke something like durban poison that keeps you up for a good day, you'll know where i'm comin from..... But seriously, I can't agree with you on them being just fancy names anymore. At one point, people were selling names, but now I believe we have begun to sell effects. At least I hope so

Ya... only a couple seeds. The plant rocks . Have a mother and clones now. Sorry but wouldn't send anyway. I'm a legal med grow. Kinda messes with fun of crosses with 15 plants.

I am a legal medical user and grower myself, in the great state of california. You could verify me lol. I just don't have money for seeds :( boo hoo hooo.... Bah hoo ha hoo hoo, hoohoohooo.

this is only strains ive grown and continue to grow myself, theres proply even better strains out there but ive not grown them
