little bulbs..calyx or hermie?

Hello everone,
I am almost ready to harvest, first time growing and it's been a lot of work.
My poor baby had to deal with poor lighting and spider mites (really bad with the bugs!) but we are almost home free until I noticed something this afternoon.
There are some little bulbs on some of the lower branches..was not sure if the are a calyx or if my plant has turned hermie.
When I picked one off and squeezed it, liquid came out and there was a while "stem" of some sort.
BUT-I did notice some pollen that shook off from the main stalk of the plant.
Just want to finish this project...can anyone tell me, from the bulb that was described, if I have a hermie after all or if all is well.
Will try and post a pic later.

Pics bro, pics. The only way anybody can tell you what you've got on your hands is with some pics. Not blurry camera phone pics either.

One of the pictures is of what I think might be developing seeds?????
When squeezed, liquid and a white stem thing is inside.

As far as the other goes, I don't remember seeing little yellow flowers ever before.

As I said I am a first-timer so I hope everyone will be so kind as to offer their opinions, remembering how you fretted during your own first grow.

I had the same problem recently. Second day of flowering and one of my little clones had a sac growing off the main stalk towards the bottom. This was unusual, because in my experience they will first present themselves towards the tops of the plant. I guess give it a week and see what happens. If it is a hermie, you may be able to get feminized seeds from it.

Did you do something to stress out your plant? Such as irregular/non-consistent light hours? Perhaps too much heat? Something of that nature? That's what I've heard of people doing to get feminized seeds. If that is the case, try segregating it from your other plants and let it do it's thing, it may be worth your while and even save you some money on seeds in the future. Or, risk it all bro, and let it pollinate your girls and make your own strain ;-)

doesnt make sense if ur almost done flowering should have already shown hermie a long ass time ago unless u let some light leak in from someonwhere

Do what you want but I don't recommend using seeds from said hermie because you could have a greatly increased chance of the seeds producing hermies as well. You have no way to know if it was genetic or stress induced. Some people say there is no difference, that a hermie is a hermie and it's in it's DNA. I don't know, but either way I wouldn't trust those seeds. :bigjoint:

Post your plant on craigslist under "casual encounters" lol. It would fit right in ;)

So is the general consenus that these are indeed pollen sacs, or seeds?
It's been a wonderful journey, I am sure I am not alone with memories of my first grow...you hear me on that?
But I can't grow again. It is obvious at this point I won't get a huge yeild, hell, not even a really great one, but wanted to wrap it up with SOMTHING!
It's too risky, as we rent, and that last rental inspection was too stressful, trying to keep the lady away from my little closet.
I could only rely on natural sunlight as there is no way I could draw attention to anthing out of the ordinary, so not surprised it wasn't a huge yeild..but did want to learn what was up..and what people thought.

seperate from females or you are gona hqve a room full of seeds and diluted buds

someone said hermed plant gives you femanized beans wrong wil give you herms if used on self

hermed pollen collected must be used on a 100% female like old fasioned boy girl plants to get femanized beans must not use a femanized female

we are screwing everything up with femanized beans will pay some way in future man thinks he is a god

I have just had the one plant...My wife threw it in a pot for kicks and giggles and when I came back from seeing family in another country, couldn't believe how much it had grown. It is now over 6 feet tall!
The seed was just an old one in a dime bag I had bought awhile ago, could have been any one since last November.
I just didn't understand the yellow flowers and that bulb thing. I didn't even notice them until today.

Should I chop now? Has been on 12/12 for almost 8 weeks and is only getting nautural sunlight through the bathroom skylight.

i agree with him...



but i also have to vent...people if you dont know an answer please dont give out false info...that could hurt a grow...
