Live Concerts

First concert ever was a Pearl Jam show back in '96 in Augusta Maine. Some might remember they were fighting with Ticketmaster at the time so they played a lot of smaller venues. Probably the only way us Mainers would ever get to see a band that big during that era. It was crazy. Dennis Rodman came out during the encore and put Eddie up on his shoulders lol. I still have the ticket and a concert tee. Great concert.
Seen PJ a bunch of time ( my older brother and I were Ten members in the 90's) had tix about 10 rows back from the stage in Phoenix late 90s early 2000.
Also have seen TOOl live which was an amazing show as well. Other than that, I have not been to too many shows. Way too many people for me now.

The last show I got to before the world came to a stand still ;) was 2019. The bill was Beck, Cage The Elephant & Spoon. Great weather on a summer night and Cage tore it up. They were great. Try to get to more but the kids keep my calendar pretty full. @natureboygrower i was also lucky enough to see PJ back in the ‘90’s heyday. That show sounds like it was a trip

hawkwind, tom petty, ozric tenticals, the cure, chemical brothers, does glastonbury festerval count? if so. loads of bands

Oh, man... I've been to a bunch. I used to love going to shows. Mostly metal and punk shows. I almost got trampled to death in a giant circle at The Warped Tour while Dropkick Murphy's were playing. One of the coolest shows I've seen was actually Trans-Siberian Orchestra in the early 2000's. They put on quite a spectacle. Anyone remember Ozzfest? Those were always a blast, too.

I generally hate live music, so I've only been to 2 concerts. Summer of '97 I took my first girlfriend to see Blue Oyster Cult at the York Fairgrounds, in York, Pa. Early '98 I went to see Limp Bizkit, Sevendust and Clutch in a tiny club called the Chameleon Club, in Lancaster, Pa.

Way too many to list. The world series of rock headlining the rolling stones in 81? Omg I'm old. It was billed as their retirement tour. Last chance to see them.. hahaha. First was foghat in 75.. tickets were like 4 bucks.

For starters, I need time to retrieve them from the memory vault.

Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Santana, CSN, Neil Young, Roger Waters, Janes Addiction, Joe Strummer, Eric Clapton…lots of classic and popular acts - I love live music (and play gigs locally!). Those are the first that come to mind. Some of the more obscure and sadly gone that I saw include Harry Chapin (my first ever concert) and the mightily underrated Elliot Smith.

Being able to smoke my own homegrown at a Snoop/Too $hort/Warren G show was epic. Super chill seats. It's crazy how smoked out the stadium got, when we were leaving it looked like the building was on fire because smoke was billowing out of the open doors
