lm thinking of adding led's to my room to give the hps a helping hand any advice?

I've read that adding led's will greatly help in the flowering stage, I got a little aggressive when I defoliated them but they are coming back strong as ever and the budlets have almost tripled in size in the last three days.
if I add led's and put the along the walls where the girls are getting the least amount of light will it help when it comes to the outside Buds ? I'm am running 3 open hoods with 1000wat hps so if I do add led's to the mix what wattage should I get and do they come in a multiple light spectrum ?

At this point you have 3000w of HPS?

If I was going to add anything it would be COBS that enhance the spectrum of the HPS.

Cobs are a style of LED's .. it stands for chip on board .. to my understanding as far as LED's go they are the dogs bollox , obviously the price reflects this . You can buy diy kits and make your own or you can purchase them ready built .. unfortunately this is as far as my knowledge concerning them goes lol

Do you have a layout of where your lights are now and where you might want to put some extra light?

You can get long straight kits or squared up a bit....all depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Here look over these and see complete with frame....or you can buy the kits and make your own frame.
