Does anyone near the Detroit area know of anywhere to get good local worm castings/compost for my organic garden?

^Yep^. Good call. There is also a guy out of Ann Arbor that sells worms and castings. Starr Valley Farms.

Check Craigslist. There's a guy in Roseville that has an ad and I get mine from him. $.50/lb and it's good stuff.
