Lollipoping too much?

So I am doing 3 different flavors this round. Never done any of them. I topped pretty early and low to get nice short bushy plants. 2 of the strains turned out great so far and this cherry pie is growing weird. So I decided to lollipop 2 of my lights of CP. I might do all my plants but these I’m starting with to get some advice. Is this too much? I haven’t flipped yet.

That’s a before and after. It may not be the best example. Let me know. I’ll go do another one. Thanks folks.

Looks fine. When do you plan on flipping them to flower? If you want short bushy plants, topping and lst works wonders because the shoots and branches you lollipopped would become mains and add to the canopy, that is IF you are flowering soon. I only lollipop larger plants that I know those lower branches won't amount to anything in flower.Increased airflow is also another benefit of lollipopping.
Lollipop for an end goal.
Defoliation, in veg also slows down growth, and bushesh them out. It is a learned skill thru experienc. I wouldn't recommend it if it's your first grow or your first time running the strain.
You did a nice lollipop tho.

It’s not my first grow. I’ve been doing it a while but never lollipopped. I’m thinking I’ll flip in the next week.
