Long term storage without Boveda Packs

Hey guys, first post. help me out. We are harvesting close to 800lbs CBD hemp this coming season. We will be storing in dark, temperature and climate controlled facility. Each lb will be vacuumed sealed, but only enough not to crush our buds. Everyone says to throw in a 67g Boveda pack but they are way too expensive. Any tips on long term storage without the humidicants?

edit: long term storage meaning 10-12 months.

What's the purpose of a humipack?
So dispensary shoppers can pretend their bud is "dank".

What other purpose does it serve?

Maintaining humidity in an enclosed but porous vessel. Simpler solution: switch to non porous vessels, reduce porosity of current vessels (multiple layers).
Alternative solutions: Grow stickier weed that holds its moisture better.

So use glass containers or double up on vacuum bags?

If its completely cured then just put it in the freezer in vac sealed bags.
