looking for a grow friendly landlord is there any place to look other than craigslist

For real? You really think a landlord is going to put in his ad to rent his apartment that you can grow weed there? Are you fucking stupid?

I suggest get your card show legal documentation you can at least grow personally. Then look away from schools and preferablly a private seller. Don't introduce marijuana till second visit or long into first make good impression too. If looking commercially go to the warehouse district some even have housing on top.

i wonder what kind of problems u have to be talking to people like that on the internet. i asked a question so i can do everything right what are u doing on this site do u even grow. I'm sure you've never talked to anyone in person like that. its ok i forgive you i can tell how weak your character is

my advice: do it under the radar.
chances are you wont find a landlord who will let you grow (personally or otherwise) and even if you do (the ones advertising on places like bud trader and craigslist who are prop 215 grower friendly) are likely not to be trusted.
anyone who says you can live and grow marijuana on their property are just likely to rip you off (or thats how id feel about it).
you're much better going semi-stealth and playing it cool.
Once i rented a decent cottage like residence that was out aways from "civilization". not very far but far enough i got away without ever using a carbon filter (so nearest neighbors were pretty far). I grew for 3 years without the landlord ever knowing. Then one day we got on the topic and i mentioned i had a card and asked if it would be okay for me to grow there.
Originally the landlord said it was fine then after a few months the landlord was hitting me up for higher rent (we had a month to month type arrangement) and cited "well you grow marijuana. you can sell some of it to cover the higher rent cant you?" he started leaning on me for $$$. i felt like it was "hush" money or something. or blackmail.
I explained i only grow for me so there would be no marijuana sales.
thats when i was out on my ass.
so i dont think you should. i had it easy. my landlord was an old guy who just seemed he wanted apart of the marijuana industry (the money at least) other landlords could/might break in when you are away and steal your plants/buds and that could be their motivation to find a grower to rent from them.
i wouldnt put myself in that situation (again anyway)
i ended up moving back where that shady old landlord is but he doesnt think i grow anymore (before i had a whole room in my house used as a grow room...now i got a semi-stealth 150w in my closet and he has no clue). i have to be stealth or he'll be trying to get extra $$$ out of me. im only back here because it was the most reasonable rent around town.
