I am from southern ontario and recently moved to northwestern ontario for school in september, looking for work right now, dont know anyone other then family and no one in my family grows let alone burns other then my 2 cousins and they are both busy busy chefs in the big cities (chefs no doubt eh lol). So i am looking to just meet some ppl (dont even know who i can buy from up here and im running low of that sexy tripple A grade kush from the city then its down to shit weed joints that only take the edge off and if u smoke too much u get a headache:cry:) and learn the land. Im obviously hopeing someone with outdoor EXPERIENCE and a little older/wiser will give me a shout out to link up or even ask me to help THEM.. im a hardworker, only grown outdoors once and wasnt anything special, grown indoors 3 different times with sterile soil and kush plants, all decent grows, im only 22, turning 23 this summer. U can check out my grows in my signature, they are from a bit ago and im alot more knowledgeable now but still a newbie with the outdoors and the bugs mother nature can bring. I dont have my 3rd grow on this website, didnt record anything about it, took a couple pics but lost them when my phone was destroyed, probly for the best either way, didnt get a chance to put them on my computer and get them off my phone (im not dumb dont worry, im good with descretion, although u might not think so with this thread ive started, hence private messge me lol).

if anyone even has any suggestions as to a friend they have online here or something that would be great. I know this sounds kinda sketchy but i really didnt know how else to really get some answers and find someone/ meet ppl. I could use the money thats for dam sure, we all can. So last thing i want to do is lose out on an opportunity for an amazing grow and earn some serious money. I dont have a license, got a DUI when i was 19, kind of a funny story but im sure not laughing now let me tell u. N E WAYS im a hardworker when i want something and god knows when u love weed ur gonna work ur ass off for that beautiful end result... its like working ur ass off at a plumbing job uve just got into for 3 years and making them hold onto ur cheques till that 3rd and final years up, then BOOM, REWARDS for all ur hard work whether u sell it, smoke it, share it, throw it on a fire and let ur whole town get lifted. Such a beautiful thing. Hopefully this thread brings some open minded trust worthy ppl together, not just for my sake. ill shut up now. thanks for listening, keep it green RIU:blsmoke:

P.S. i have a bunch of high quality seeds, 30 outdoor specific, plus many more. ive done all sorts of labour jobs over the years aswell so im not som scronny little bitch who plays vids all day lol

Bro no one will grow with you from rui. Too risky. Find someone with a car and convince him to grow for first year then get your licence and grow by yourself, you will get better every season.

ya looks like that is the plan, just thought id give it a try lol. I do understand most ppl grow by themselves as ive done indoors over the years. Just would be nice to find some local passion. I might get a friend from southern ontario to come up and help and figure somethings out. Other then that i might just have to go on a bike ride and plant some here and there. I'll have to attempt to start some babies in my closet or something in an old subwoofer box or something with my LED panel. I sold all my indoor equipment except my 400watt MH and my little 45watt LED panel. Have to c what we can do. Like i said, just dont wanna miss out. should be a good season. thanx BUDS.

I doubt anyone would be interested in growing with someone they met on the internet. I mean, even you should be quite scared to post this thread. A Pig/Informer just has to be like, sure lets meetup and then bust you when the time comes. I wish there was a way to honestly verify if a person was legit, but unfortunately there isn't. Just grow alone this year.

ya i get cha.. probly the best thing to do, just thot i would try lol.. and ya informers, those fuckin little rats, that is totally tru, the guy can smoke all the joints with me he wants but when it comes time he can just go tell a cop and get paid for it or get off on a charge or whatever the case.. very tru.. i know all this of course i just had hoped for the best i guess lol

lol i agree to a certain extent.. this thread was to find me a teacher for the outdoors really.. not really to just find someone to grow with, thats kinda dumb obviously lol.. looks like i will probly just go plant a couple random here and there and hope for the best. thing is when im done my program im probly going back south and will be just focusing on indoors.. thats why it would be really nice to get an outdoor experience this summer, but we cant have it all good all the time can we lol. happy token everyone

Best thing for you to do is start a thread and ask questions along the way. Be patient when waiting for your answers and lastly.... Research!!! It will only take you a couple of seasons to get the hang of it. I am on my 3rd. :)

oh for sure dude and thats what ill be doing. Just was looking up i guess a little high to find someone to put me under they're wing. Its nice when someones already got a spot to grow or someones already got things started and needs help for a little cutt. I was offered back in the south to go out in the bush (somwhere dono where) for 8 months just by myself after i was taught a few things.. take care of the crop and guard it but cant say i have 8 months of free time to sit and watch a crop. i start school in september and plus i dont have a license. I also was told i wouldnt be aloud any contact with anyone while i was there (which is an obvious, but hard to deal with not talking to n e one for 8 months straight right lol). so i guess i was looking for another offer like this but a little more easy going or closer to where i am now

In my opinion partners don't work out man.Somebody usually gets screwed.Somebody puts more work and time plus cash.Somebody usually gets greedy. And you can't trust nobody now a days.Just do what angryblackman said.I like learning thing on my own so I could only credit myself.

completely tru man, growing by yourself is always the best unless u need something from someone and they need something from u. Lets say i had a spot to grow but no money for equipment, well ur buddy has equipment but nowhere to grow. you split it right down the middle, anything new that is purchased, soil, nutrients, etc etc the person with the spot then gets half the price of that taken off his earnings.. and so on and so forth.. ive done this once with a friend and i kept 3 plants and he kept 2, everything was mine except the space we grew in. i had everything ready to go but no where to flower so technically i lost out a little but i didnt care becuz i still got my pay day.

As i said above, "COMPLETELY TRU" lol but i needed a place to flower so we were both lucky n made some money. All i did before flowering was my LED thread in my sig. i then took 5 of those 8 and brot them to his place, i then recieved a tent in the mail and flowered my 3 remaining with my 400watt mh 3200k bulb, the tent couldnt take on the 1000watt HPS so thats why we brot them to his place, was so much more worth it under the 1000watt.

ya Gibbs sorry to tell you but nobody is gonna grow with someone they met online, Im from central ontario and will be living in northern ontario for school this summer. Iv grown small outdoor crops in central ontario 10-15 plants each year, with a large variety of strains. But ya you can only grow with people you 100% trust and unfortunately the interenet isnt the place to meet them, elementary school is. The only person i involve in my grows in my bestfriend since grade 2, the guy who I started smoking with in grade 9, he and I have both had our seperate grows the past few years but always let the other in on our own, for help with trimming of transplanting. He is the only guy I trust to tell about my grows and let them see and help me. There is nothing stopping a person u met on the interenet from going to the site a day early and cropping it all before u get there, but atleast if ur partner is a lifelong friend the relationship and friendship you have should hopefully stop them from getting greedy and screwing you over.

As for growing in ontario I can give you some advice. when looking for you growsite make sure it is super stealth, nobody can even have a reason to suspect someone is growing weed, that means anytime your going to ur site, make it look like ur doing something else, like just going for a bike ride, then when u get close to the spot, Dissapear, nobody can have any suspicions. When looking for a spot i like to use google earth to scan forests and rivers in my area to see if i can find any big enough open sections for a garden, or 2 or 3 gardens, its always better to split them up if its alot on plants (15+). remember what looks like a small opening in the forest on google earth is actually huge, so any noticable open grassy spots will be big enough. After you've located accouple possible spots on google earth, go out and try to find them and assess the areas around them, making sure there are no signs of recent human activity. Also growing on southern facing slopes is ideal because it increases sun exposure in the northern hemisphere.

After you find ur spot or spots u have to get the materials out there. in my experience, a bale of pro-mix is the best bang for you buck 20-30$ for around 50 litres of growing medium, which will be enough for about 5 outdoor plants. Since promix doesnt have nutrients u need to add that into ur soil mix, id recommend ammending it with organic ferts but if ur chinsy and lazy u can use chemical ferts, slo release or something, iv only ever gone organic so thats my advice. Get some worm castings, high N and high PK bat guanos are the essentials, theres shit tons of organic ferts u can add, (the organic forum is perfect for learning what to add) also maybe get some fish emulsions to add into ur water every 3rd time or so. When you've got ur spot with all the materials out there dig big ass holes, the bigger the better, (thats why 1 bale pro-mix should be for 5 plants) and mix the promix with ur other ferts. Ideally ur grow spot is in a slightly moist area where when u dig ur whole it is muddy and wet about 2-3 feet down, that will minimalize the amount of watering u need to do.

As for bugs n shit iv encounter accouple different problems growing outside but all of them are super managable, you might find powdery mildew or black spots on the fanleaves but theres products to fix that easily, my personnal menace are budworms and other worm like larvea, they are little larvea (i think moth larvea) that mature on ur plants, They are kinda a light translucent green colour and they eat plant matter, they range in size, which is why u need a good eye to find them, mostly u look for the signs that they are there, then go looking for it to kill and get off ur plant. They spin leaves or bud with there silk and make little cucoon like things, then they eat the plant matter, the issue is that the white silky stuff they use causes mold. So when looking for budworms look for leaves that have been pulled closed like a cucoon, or white silky stuff on the buds or leaves, and the last sign is a moldy bud, if u see any of those u should immediately start checking that area of the plant to find and kill the budworm, and remove any areas that were contaminated by the budworm. There is shit u can spray on plants to kill those and almost every other bug, but i dont like the idea of spraying poison on a plant im gonna smoke in 3 months so i do it the natural way, with my hands.

Thats some very short and basic advice iv learned from my past few outdoor crops, goodluck this summer

Absolutely understandable dude.. this was more to find someone who would teach me and allow me to mayb help THEM right then i wouldnt take on such a redic. risk lol. I TOTALLY APPRECIATE your post man that is some awsome simple info for growing outdoors. I will do what i can this summer and learn as much as possible from my mistakes.. i think the hardest spot is finding the right spot.. there is TONS of open land out here but im always worried about hunters or ppl mayb even doing the same thing im doing and they stumble across mine lol. But if theres no risk everyone would be doing it right so gotta take my chances and do what i can. much appreciated dude, especially the info about the bugs.. i have noticed things like this before on outdoor plants (werent mine) and i wasnt sure what bugs are bad and what arent lol.. thers just so many kinds of bugs out there u know, but clearly if they are sticking around ur plant chances are they like it and are eating it lol. respects

Like all the good advice ya' got. I feel for you bro'. I had the same experience though it was 23 years ago and things were quite different with the attitude of Law efuckment...
Best thing I thought of was the 2 things I did cause I couldn't just ask people I met, mostly thru business. And the net wasn't yet. 1. Walk your mid-scale neighborhoods late in the summer and early fall. You'll smell things. 2) bars harbor the most loose lipped people in any world. But the best advice has already been given; to not trust anyone. I feel for you, best green to you, you'll do fine. Think stealthy rooftops? trees?
