Looking for any insights on My 2x4 tent (2000w enjoyyeild LED)

5 gallon fabric pots with FFOF soil.

Fed blue planet 3 part nutes as according to label with every watering. Plus 5ml per gallon GH CALiMAGic cal-mag.

Vegged for about 45 days or so and flipped to flower light cycle on 1/20

I think they look okay so far, but i want to get the most out of them. They are my best looking plants yet and i wanna treat them right.

Any tips on how to get them to fatten up as much as possible? This is a new light and a new nute line but i have been less than impressed with quality from my last few harvests.

I have grown a few autos, gorilla glue, and a few other photo strains. These ones are OG Kush bagseed.

Keep doing what you're doing Firstly, as stated looking happy.... you can add a bloom booster if you wish weeks 4-6 or 7 your choice...less is more during use.
Let them ripen is the best advice right now...do not chop early...look at 65 to 70 days minimum in flower...then go from there. A little Epsom salt later in flower wouldn't hurt either.

Should be finished using most bloom boosters by the end of week 5 not starting then.

I start using some Big Bud a week before flipping to get fast bud set and more bud sites. The first 3 weeks of 12/12, (the Stretch), is a huge growth spurt where lots of all nutrients are needed and the plant can really use extra P and K. After the stretch the need for P drops but more K and S will fatten them up and make more resin.

The flowering period is basically 40/60, stretch/fattening so a 10 week flower plant will have about 4 weeks before stretch is over. A long flowering sativa could have 6 or more weeks of stretch tho. Adjusting feed levels depending on such characteristics makes for better outcomes.

As long as the plants have enough of everything good results can still be had so most of it isn't critical. Fine tuning comes with experience and it can take a few cycles of the same strain to dial everything in so nothing is carved in stone.

Maybe I should have added more detail to that as I didn't mean to offend.

In a good soil grow there is probably lots of all needed nutrients so adding bloom foods may not show that much of a difference unless there are deficiencies. I mostly grow either DWC or in soiless using hydro nutes and that is really dependent on timing and inputs as they are all the plants have to grow with.

Doing side by side grows with identical plants from the same mother showed some decent increases with early application of bloom food. Mainly just some extra Bloom and a half dose of Big Bud a week before flipping compared to starting that at the end of week 2. Checking my daily ppm drop in DWC showed up to 4X the feeding rate during the stretch then a rapid drop back to late veg rates. I'm pretty sure it's the same with other grow methods but harder to measure.

I am just over 2 weeks into flower now. Any specific bud boosters you guys can reccomend? I can definitely confirm they are eating more. They vegged in 3 gallon pots and i transplanted a week or so before flipping. The past few days i have had to water daily. I have used full strength nutes and the soil itself is FFOF which has its own organic nutes.

I am really hoping to pull a good yeild and good quality. I have put alot of money and time into this.

My biggest concern is stretching. I am worried that this lanky one is not gunna fill out and turn into larfy crap.

I use Monster Bloom myself and very little...maybe 1/4 recommended..maybe slightly less.
I always alternate with fresh tap.
Many ways to skin a cat, find what works best for you.

In the past i have had N tox on most of my grows. Today i cut some of the Micro (which has the higest amount of N in the Blue Planet 3 part nutes) just as a precaution. They are in FFOF soil which has a decent amount of nutes so I am jusy worried about overfeeding. Plus hoping it maybe will slow down vertical growth because as you can see i am running put of space above.

Bud sites seem to be developing nice, no visible frost yet but more pistils every day.

Also just wanted to add that the white stuff you see on the first pic of the smaller plants stem is not mildew, its diatomatous earth that i dusted them with a whole back to fight off thrips. It worked, no more signs of them.

Watch the nutes...I transplanted just b4 flip ...HF soil...have not had to give any nitrogen at all...just a little bloom and Epsom.
This is beginning of week 8...still not required.

Those look incredible.

I notice the stakes you have for supports for colas. I am considering doing something similar. Im worried that each branch is so long they won't be able to support all the bud sites if it packs alot on.

I am a bit worried about shoving stakes into the rootzone though because of possible stress to the plant this far along. i am too late to do something like that?

Not at all...try not to pierce the main rootball...I put stakes in throughout the time of my grow..no harm ever.

As well,.if you so desire, get yoyos or just use string. Use garden rubber covered twine to make a loop around the cola's stem loosely, and tie to that, not directly to the stalk. Tie the other end whereever it's convenient.

Well now that the stretching seems to have stopped i am feeling waaaay better about the taller plant. Its leggy but budsites are developing down the whole length of them. I might be on track for some nice long fat colas on her.

The shorted plant is also coming along well. I am gunna feed them again this afternoon.
