lucas formula. 8 micro/16 bloom per gallon of RO/distilled water. the 6/9 mix is for coco.
Thanks for the distinction, Rock. Good stuff. It's really cool to see the various "recipes" that have been developed over the years. The solid ones, I mean. Like Lucas for example. Now why in the hell hasn't GH or any of their competitors marketed that? Growers have nearly developed solid solutions of the nutes on the market to adapt to just about every type of situation. You'd think they'd be eager to get access to all of that free (anecdotal) R&D. I'm beginning to think that those companies aren't as smart as some of their customers when it comes to nutes.

actually that 6/9 formula is commonly referred to as H3AD'S formula. he added 1 gram of Epsom too but he was using RO not tap.

GH came up with FloraNova Bloom which is an exact copy of Lucas. so they did realize that they could make money off Lucas! lol

ive heard people using flora nova bloom, and maxi bloom alone for both veg and flower.. i tried it but seen yellowing quickly in veg w/ maxi bloom..
so i use
veg= 1 tsp per gallon maxi grow
bloom weeks 1-2 1/2 tsp maxi gro, 1/2 tsp maxi bloom per gal
weeks 3-finish maxi bloom alone at 1 tsp per gal..

just bought jacks classic citrus and potassium,, look forwards to trying it..

Yep, I found H3ads coco thread and never looked back. I elected to skip RO in favor of tap water. It's a 50/50 choice. I don't have to buy calmag, but I have to adjust my ph. I figured ph down was cheaper than calmag, so...

From the tap its about 6.7 at around 160ppm. When I'm done mixing it's 5.8 at 850ppm. I shoot for 60-100ml of runoff. It works for me.
