looking for current strain that is similar to normal schwag.

I have been hunting but not finding what im looking for so I'm calling out to the community for help.

I am wanting to add a strain to my collection that is similar in effect to just normal ol bag seed. That stuff that when you take a hit or two it feels like there is a fuzz in the middle of your forehead, hearing is enhanced on ambient noise etc...

The perfect one also needs to smell like that kinda sweet odor too...

Again... Similar to bag seed, but potency needs to be better.


Sooo, excluding bag seed, what else is there that may cover thus order and blind my third eye?

Hey ws, I feel as though I have been waving a banner for Reggae Ceeds, Juanita la Lagrimosa here on RIU. I grow it for two folks undergoing chemo as edible medication. Be that as it may I vape and eat it too...It is a very good cerebral buz (means it DOES get you high) but not stupefying or confusing or couchlocked...Original Sensible Ceeds has it. You will not be impressed with yield and it does require management (bondage) top for four colas & plan on about 3 times stretch. Five foot overall in a seven gallon smart pot...Long flower period 90-100+ day using 50/50 trich withering...FWIW

To the OP try skunk #1 ..never grew it but I believe it has a short flowering time 45-60 days ..sweet taste and odor with a little funk ..and like 12-15 % thc ..should be perfect for what ur asking

I would just use bagseed from some schag you like. The reason your typical imported brick is so lousy is mainly due to 2 reasons. First is that it is seeded. Second, and I feel most important, is the way it is handled. It's chopped, most likely thrown in a pile for a few day until it is poorly trimmed. Once it's dry it's compressed to shit and spends the rest of it's life in a spare tire or somebody's gas tank until it gets to the destination. They don't care, it's all about weight.

Like someone mentioned, maybe Sensi Super Skunk or Skunk #1 might be close to what you are after. I am in no way comparing those strains to schwag, they are good strains, but they are super cheap and have that sweet, musky smell you are looking for.

Uhhhh....... tough one. When I try to picture the bud your describing I think of bricks from Mexico. Not my favorite, thats for sure. But I recently ran a pack of Sensi's Skunk #1, all I could think was damn I've smoked a lot of this in bricked up, old bullshit form. I bought the seed on closeout from Hemp Depot and only three went. I got a male and 2 girls, one of the girls was kinda sweet and really quite unimpressive, the other I have smoked so many times. I will never grow it again but it may be the one for you. And its one of the cheaper packs of beans available.

For me schwag is a general term for all lower end commercial. There once was a time I saw a lot of bricks of commercial, while most suck or really really suck there is some really great shit to be found. My guy used to cut an X in the top of the wrapping of a brick and that was all we had to go one. I was either green or brown and you could really only judged based on the first impression. I have actually busted open 400 dolla lb's that were nothing but huge ass crystal nugs, with barely a seed in sight. Stuff that would make any smoker happy. And busted open bricks right next to them that were all bullshit....... Possible different phenos but all I saw was a stack of plastic wrapped blocks.
