Looking for opinions

They say 2 minds are better than 1, so...
I'm just looking for your opinion on a few thnigs i am thinking about doing.

1. I have 4 clones in Veg right now and potted them to some cheap soil. (it was all i could find, it's winter in my area and everything is out of season). It drys very slow. Somewhat annoying to me i would think because i wont be able to give enough nutes. I do now have some better soil, would it even be worth the risk to try and nock off most of the old soil and repot them?

2. I also have 4 females flowering on their 4th week. From expierence would it be worth the risk of shock to trim leaves to expose the bud sites to direct light? - i did a little of this in week 2, but not alot, and i don't want to shock them.

3. Would it be okay to water with fox farms tiger bloom, then a pk booster, and alternate rather than using both at once and then alternating with fresh water?

I would carefully dig around the plants trying not to disturb the roots to much, and then put in new soil. Should leave dirt around roots because you can create a air pocket, which can be damaging to the roots. There will be some shock, but plants will survive.

As for trimming, I would trim leafs, but not to an extreme. Plants won't be shocked by it so long as you don't over do it.

And for the final question - You really should stick to tiger bloom in my opinion. But that's me!

i want to use tiger bloom AND the pk booster, you think i should lay off the PK booster? im trying to get the best yield i can off this grow at this point, and i am led to believe the pk booster is going to help alot, it's grotek monster bloom. i would be using fox farms big bloom with the tiger bloom, but i got sent two bottles of tiger bloom instead.

Something i forgot to add, my moisture meter reads 3 in ambient air, so should i trust the meter or subtract 3 to whatever it says?

tiger bloom & the pk booster should work ok together. My main concern would be nute intake and nute burn. Does the packaging give you any indication as to how much to use?

When I flower my nutes start at 1000 ppm and each week it goes up to 1,200, 1,300, 1,400 and so on. But keep in mind that I use a very concentrated nutes.

I think what I'm trying to say is that you should keep your ppm at the levels you normally use irregardless if your using both nutes.

Yeah i'm giving it at 1/4 strength it's very potent and i have to give it like under a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. I've already begun using it and i havent burned my plants from it, when i used grow big + tiger bloom i nthe first week of flowering they did burn just a little, but i've been able to not kill them. since then ive used tiger bloom, then on the next watering i used the monster bloom and they have not burned from it, might increase it just a tad.

When I go from veg 780 ppm to 1000 ppm , my plants burn just a little on the first watering, then they take off like a weed should. Sounds like to me about the same deal with your plants. Plants are always the first to let us know when we have screwed up, so watch your plants carefully. You should do just fine.

Yes you can but it will take some time for them to go back into vegetative state.

Ya you can dig that crappy stuff out, When I realized I used organic garden compost, I dug all that out and put new foxfarm organic in there. They didnt get shocked at all it seemed and they took off like a bat outa hell the next day. Make sure you water good tho so some of the nutes from the new soil will go into the old crappy stuff.

Btw about your moisture meter, Wal-mart has em for 8 bucks, for such an important tool I think its worth it just to replace it.

Depends, if you clone your females you will get females. seeds could go either way, the clones you will probobly be waiting on for abit longer, then again im not sure.

P.S.
I Repotted the clones that were in that horrible soil, i tried my best to dig around but they're roots had stretched out alot of places. Quite a few roots were destroyed in this process, not the main rootball though. How bad is this going to harm my ladies? i would imagine they should recover nicely, and i hope they do. But i had to repot them, that soil refused to dry out and some kind of grass blades or some shit was growing out of it.
