Looking for skunk

Many years ago we came acoss some skunk from New Jersey and it was the real deal. If I had it in my pocket you could smell it. I have been near a spraying skunk and it smelled just like it. Over the years I have people tell me they had skunk but it was never true skunk...the smell was not the same.
So my question is skunk#1 the true skunk Im looking for? and where is a safe place to buy the seeds in the U.S. and is there any risk buying seeds online?

Yeah I am growing skunk #1 right now from Planet Skunk and they already smell abit skunky. I am only in the 4th week of vegging.

I was wondering if anyone knew if the smell of mature skunk#1 was close to a real skunk.

I have a plant on the go now that reeks like a skunk..in fact is has smelled like a skunk since it sprouted!!I'm putting it in to flower in a week or so!I know that old school smell of skunk and I hope my bud turns out smelling like that!

Awe man As I sit and read the rsponses I am taken back to like 1988-1991 when skunk was stinky and stoney and the high lasted for hours. And G I joe was saving America, while transformers, clashed with go-bots for saturday cartoon supremacy. Man I cant wait to smoke my skunk plants. I used to get so high back in the day,.........wait I still get High. lmao

Ya, I have yet to come across true skunk since it use
to emanate from under the door of my dad's room.
But from what i have read on skunk it varies in smell and appearance.
From fruity to skunky and from green to gold.
