Looking for some advise

So I've been researching about topping my plants. I have a 3x3x6 grow tent with 400w hps and we have 6 plants in 5 gallon buckets. Should I be topping the plants if so when is it best to top them? They have been under 24/0 light for 10 days and range from 7inches to 11 inches high. Also I feel like some of the plants are leaning a little should I be worried about that or should I do something to make them stand up straighter? I've been looking at the scrog method would that work with how many plants we have in there? Thank you for all your help this site is awesome my go to to advise/help!!!

Kind of far from the light? If you can get the light down or the plants up like about 2 feet from the light is good. You could top them, but it would stress them more than just tying them to a stake and bending the top over. Scrog would work better with 1 or 2 plants and if those 6 got big it would be crowded even un topped or un trained. Do it as SOG if you want to keep 6 or 'top' the best 2 or 3 for a scrog but the light could probably be closer.

Yeah this picture was 2 days ago I moved the light up cause some of the leaves we're curling up and I needed to get another fan inside. We got the fan up now and I've moved the light down again. So are you saying it would not be a good idea to top them? This is my first grow so I'm a little overwhelmed with all the different theories. Here some pictures from just now

If you top them they will only get bushier and IMO they won't fit in your tent. When do you plan to flower?

Your space looks more than covered......take some clones from some BOTTOMS for the next round

With all those plants in ur tent I would top now. Think about 4main stems per plant. Top at above the 5th node. It's still gonna get crowded in there. Good luck

We were going to flower after 3 weeks of veg or if they got to a foot and a half or 2 feet. From what we read the flower time for this strain platinum og kush is 8 weeks and it will grow a lot in the flower stage does that sound right?

Yup u got it. Never grew og Kush but most indica/sat varieties take about 8 weeks as a rule
