Looking for something other than General Hydroponic

Hello People,
I’m looking for advice. So before my first go I bought the GH floragrow line. Now a couple grows later I’m finishing off some of the bottles and would like to replace them with a different brand but I don’t know what’s best. Meaning I want something better, not the same or worst….. or does it not matter because it’s all the same?

another question.. are there some stand alone nutes I can just sub into the GH floragrow line up that I still have some of. I would be replacing:
Floralicious plus
Rapid start
FloraBloom (of 3 part series)
Diamond Nectar

any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks
 
Don't fall for the designer nutrient scam. You can grow just as good of weed with the GH as you can with anything else.

There are more important factors to a better grow than brand of nutrients. And you don't need all those bottles of additives like floralicious and whatever nectar.

While I have your attention, does over feeding present a danger of heavy metals ?
 
Any Jacks321 clone will do. Traditional mineral salts in two part with one part calcium nitrate 15.5-0-0 and 5-12-26 with added micros. If you live in Europe I would look for Yara's stuff.

No reason to pay for branding when you can get the mineral salts directly from the source. Yara Calcinit, Epsom salt, MKP and Rexolin APN(micros) will grow top shelf for pennies compared to GH, AN etc.

ive used yaramila in the past it’s a 15-15-15 it’s pretty cheap too for a 50# bag. I think it was 50 bucks.

You're going to find heavy metals in every fertilizer product. I don't know how much of a danger they pose and if overfeeding presents more of a significant danger.

One thing to think about is that many cannabis specific fertilizers and products claiming to be organic have more heavy metals than Miracle-Gro.

This database has many products and the amounts of heavy metals they contain.

Everything you are looking to replace is not necessary in my opinion.

If you like GH and I like them, I use GH Flora Trio (micro, grow, bloom), CaliMagic (their Ca/Mg supplement) and some Si additive.
 
When I'm growing in pro mix I really like GH. I like the flavors you get from GH flora series (i guess it's the different sulfur based stuff in it). But I don't use the grow part.

Oh wow, I didn’t know it could be done without grow. Cool
 
Well let me say this I’ve been using GH Flora Series for a couple decades including some of the same mentioned if used correctly there’s little out there any better. If you’ve had prior success why fix what’s not broke. Here’s a perfect reason why I will stay true to GH. 43 days into flower. Need I say more!

Look up Lucas formula. But if you are getting good results, and also you are a little new, don't do any drastic changes.
One of the sad things in growing is when you are getting good results and then you change something and then get a bad grow.
Small changes are usually best.

Of course this is just my opinion. Keep reading!!

I also use Gh Flora Trio, also Armor Si, CaliMagiC and Floralicious Plus. Been growing just under a year, in coco, i switched to FoxFarm trio for a grow and had all sorts of random burns/lockouts etc, even when sticking to the chart at a reduced level. GH never does, I get absolutely no issues.

May I ask what all products you use? GREAT results by the way.
 
Gladly tell you I use Grow, Micro, Bloom, Blend and Floralicious. I flow the dosage chart closely.
