Looking for suggestions on an early finisher for Finger Lakes region of NY

Last year I had pretty good success growing out a few bag seeds but the plants were just barely finishing off in mid-October as frost as well as bud rot became potential problems. This year I'd love to grow a strain that would finish in mid to late September to avoid or at least minimize those potential problems.

I've read that Purple Maroc finishes quite early as well as Easy Sativa and am looking for advice from those in the area that might have experience growing either of them in this part of the world.
