going to be switching nutrient lines today,i want to to get a better opinion from an experienced grower or growers on the best and most cost effective way to fertilize and grow plentiful medical marijuana, i have tons of grow shops in the area and would like to get the best food for my girls, without having to spend hundreds, but i will if its worth it.

currently using fox farms complete line up and getting tons of yellow leaves while in flowering (week 4). cutting 20 plants every 5 weeks, veggin for 5 weeks, its a perpetual medical cycle. so a lot of nutes. promix soilless is the base, but might switch to FFOF if compelled by others experiences. im using only high quality strains and seeds so genetics is NOT an issue.

if you are getting yellow leaves, thats on you not the nutes.
ive had yellow at week 4 since i started growing, its getting lesser now that i use a tds meter, but i am not extremely impressed with ff. maybe there line is too complex for me to handle

i follow there schedule a little less than recommended, what gives?!

....i suggest you buy a couple small bags of diff soil's and nutes and do a big side by side grow
i was thinking that, but hasn't it already been done and shown? i mean i don't really believe the hype but there was an AN side by side on you tube with 5 lines and AN practically double the other companies..

i personally dont care how many times somethings been done...for me...if somethings been done ALOT on here and in the mairjuana community in general, then im likely to do one myself....nothing like doing it yourself and see results with your own eyes

I use FFOF plus the trio of Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom am don't have that problem. My current grow (see sig) is well into the 6th week of flower and I'm just starting to see a little yellow on some of the bigger fan leaves. Right on schedule.

Why not just go down to your local nursery and get a bag of their "house mix" soil (About $20 for a big 2.8 cu/ft bag), pick up a 4 lb bag of Espoma BioTone Plus (about $12), and a bag of the Espoma Bone meal (about $9). Mix the BioTone into the soil mix, and plant the girls. BioTone Plus has all the bennies and mycos in it. About a week or so before you flip them, top dress some bone meal in. All you do from the mixing in point is water. Or occasionally supplement it with the tea of your choice.
When you mix the soil, you could add some BioChar to the mix to turbo charge the grow. BioChar can be bought as Hardwood lump Charcoal (NOT the Kingsford type briquettes) at Sportsmans Paradise, Cabelas, or other outdoor shops. Soak it in water and crush the lumps, add to soil, and there you go. You grow one grow like this and I promise you you'll forget all about those Hyper marketed nutes.

well i got jacks classic dynamic duo, all purpose (20-20-20) and blossom booster (10-30-20) i top dressed my yellowing plants with dolomitic lime to hopefully solve the problem, i wonder if i should use a foliar spray of epsom salts, any suggestions? and i dont believe its nitro because i was supplementing with added nitro

may i ask why that is? what if it has to do with a nitrogen deficiency?
Flowering plants need SOME nitrogen, but yellowing during budding is perfectly normal. Doesn't necessarily you're doing anything wrong
