Looks like Dried up water

okay so.... ive found this site to be very useful and this is my issue.

for starters, im using full BIO-CANNA line with ocean forest soil(heard it was better), i water every 3rd day. sometimes every 2nd day. im about a month into it with my clones.

here is my problem. on SOME not all the plants. there is white building up on the tips and white coming from all parts of the leaves. on the actual leaf its just like water dried up and left spots on it. on the tips its like actual solid white build up..... WTF?! please help!!!!!

uhh whats the PH of your water and are you using tap water?

i know its not all the plants but do you mist them or anything?

i dont spray them with anything but SAFER BRAND: FUNGICIDE SPRAY. but i got that caz of some other problem and its fixing it. this other shit is a seperate note. i was told it was a PH flux. its prolly caz i was to lazy to go get some RO water a few days ago and used tap water... i still PHed it but it might be the other crap thats in te water? i dono... ive used tap water befopre and never did anything... maybe its the cold weather? im currently only in veg rt now... so im only using T5's and its made the temp in my room go down a lot... im even using a heater....

Slightlyjooish,

What is the humidity in your room. I came across your forum because I have white tips on my plants as well. They are only about 10 inches tall with 7 nodes. I think its nute burn because when I noticed it my rez was running a little higher than normal. Im in my second week of veg and was running nutes at 1000ppm. The next day I checked and it was 1300 ppm and I had white tips.

I added some water and brought back to 950ppm. I'll check in a few days and see if the new growth looks good and let you know. I doubt the water would do it because all "that crap" in the water is good. There are a lot of trace elements including mag in tap water. I ran all my seedlings in hydro with tap water that had 300ppm and they liked it. Trying to help you because we have the same prob.

It might be dry in your veg room if you are using a heater and have t5 lights. humidity???? see my pics
