Lorazapam

friend just gave me a bottle he doesnt do pills but he said theyll get me high i just popped 2.5 mgs not really feelin much how many (if they do at all) to get blasted? he said theyr like valium but idk they dont seem to great

They're not as good as valium I heard... was gonna trade two E pills to some guy I knew for a bottle of them so they're really not worth much. Anti-anxiety medication (benzodiazepines) aren't the same kind of fucked up feeling you can get off alcohol, marijuana, cough syrup or synthetic opiates (example: oxycodone, hydrocodone, Demerol, ect.). They mostly just make you very relaxed and feel calmer all around or if you take to much you'll just pass out. Now mixing them with alcohol is a different story, you will get a lot more "fucked up" as both alcohol and benzodiazepines both work on the same receptors in the brain so they potentiate each other. Though the risk for CNS depression increases (your breathing rate decreases, which increases the possiblity of you passing out and no longer breathing, therfore causing death or at lest brain damage from asphyxiation). It would be better to combine it with some marijuana as it makes you feel "higher" in a certain sense and more of a relaxed chilled out high. I've heard lorazepam is weaker than diazepam (valium), not sure how much you would need to take to equal a certain amount of valium (try googling it).

They're generic Ativan's. Basically same drug as valium, slightly weaker. How many to get ripped? depends on your tolerance. If it takes ya 3 blue valiums to get fucked up, I'd take about 5 (maybe 6) of the ativans/lorazapams.

yeaa man thanks i wasnt feelin a lot with the 2 so i took and 4 and ehhh im not drunk just kinda slow... and relaxed uk? i was gonna take some codeine syrup with it but i gues theyd cancel each other out and that wouldnt be good haha. maybe take a few more see what happens?

im up to 7mgs and im gooooood not high but cheillllin basicaly ill take as many as i can withut ODin uk i weigh like 120ishh and only taken valium a few times... sooo how much more is recomeded?

If your already feeling good off it probably no more or you'll just most likely pass out.

10 mg put me to sleep sitting up. Used to take em when i could get em, 5mg did me good.

Xanax = Alprazolam a much stronger shorter acting Benzo, a lot more highly prized for recreational use compared to other benzo's
Ativan = Lorazepam a weaker longer acting version of valium pretty much as doowmd said.

I love Lorazepam, (generic Ativan) it's the only thing that can snap me out of full blown panic attacks, that's about the only time I take it though. =)

Oh and the coedine with promethazine would be OK to take with it as long as you watch your dose... but taking about I think 1/8 or so of it should have you nodding combined with the Lorazepam if you have little tolerance to opiates. If it's codeine with Tylenol that's another story, probably would need to dose more as promethazine is an antihistamine which would increase the likely hood of you "Nodding out". But with harm reduction in mind I wouldn't advise it.

i do have some xanax that really help take the edge off. they are only .5mg, but that's all i really need for medical use.

holy shit man, im surprised your still alive after that. 10 1mg put my lights out, you must have one hell of a tolerance built up.

Wow that's a lot man, remember this stuff has delayed reaction and lasts a bit longer than a typical Valium. I got 4mg in an IV in the E.R. once and that's the most I've taken. Usually .5-1mg does me good and I'm a huge ass dude. I will say this though, the best sleep I've ever had was on a lorazepam. =)

Hierarchy of benzo's (nerve pills) for future reference (adjust amount ingested accordingly)
1) Xanax (Alprazalom) *.25 mg-2mg dosages
2)Valium (Diazepam) *2.5mg-10mg " "
3)Klonopin (Clonazepam) ?
4)Ativan(lorazepam) ?

a stomach pump and 3 lbs of activated charcoal cleared me right up.

i was having a bad day.

I went to a party once and my buddy (whose party it was) comes up to me and offers me some "Haldol". Now it looked similar to a valium and even had the letter h cut out of it's center (like name brand valium's have a V in 'em) so I ended up taking like 15-20 over the course of the night. every time we passed each other he'd give me another! lol. the next day I suffered some of the most severe side effects you can imagine: muscle spasms IN MY NECK!!!! eventually, later the next day, I was admitted into the local hospital but was afraid to tell the doctor what was wrong, so I just pretended like I didn't know why I was having these extreme, involuntary, muscles contractions. the doc admitted me and started me on a drip of valium to try to relax me. thats when the hallucinations started!!! The doctor finally realized what was up thru blood analysis, and gave my gf a real lecture on how I could've died from just a few more milligrams of the valium combining w/ what was still in me from the night before! Needless to say that was the last fuckin time I took a haldol in my life!

I hate Ativan... I have a bottle of it and it makes me feel dizzy and strangely drunk, I loose massive amounts of coordination and my vision gets very warped and I feel like a zombie with little to no thoughts. The only benzodiazepine i like is klonopin which i take rarely when i feel like im going to have a panic attack. Kpins are amazing for sleep and stress but I heard xanax is better but comes with a short half life...

oh, i see. I thought about it and i figured that something real bad must of happened. In a way i will admit i feel a small amount of embarrassment over it, but ive "od'd" like 3 times now. although with me it always starts with me getting dizzy and having a seizure(which is nothing new for me, i have had them occasionaly through my life even b4 i did anything like that,) it sucks the worst though is that once i snap out of the seizure ill be fine but b4 then people call 911 and their are always a few cops and a few paramedics who wont take no as an answer when they want to take you to the hospital, like i need another 1800 debt for something i didnt even want and was pretty much fine w/o. 900 fucking bucks just for the ambulance to come to your house is incredibley lame. 1 of the times i did need to go though imo, never pumped my stomache, but i had to drink a bunch of that charcoal too, i was so thirsty i chugged almost the whole container in one go, i can still remember the nurses surprised look when i just went and did em one right after another.
Glad things got better man, ive never tried or seriously thought of suicide but i have gone through the same sort of feelings and emotions and all that.
