So I finally got my 5X3X8 closet setup. I am running a PL lighting DE in the room coupled with a 6" fan/scrubber and a 9K modified window unit to keep it cool. The AC and inline fan are both located in the attic and rely on insulated ducting to extract and return the treated air.
I am about 3 days into testing and the temps are holding great. The problem I'm seeing is lack of humidity. I'm at 20% or lower in the room. I'm assuming the AC being on constantly is stripping the humidity from the air. I plugged in a little BS unit we used when my kid was born but that has done literally nothing to help.
I have a high pressure aero pump and misters and could easily set that up but I'm concerned about spraying water in the room. The walls are Sheetrock and there is some exposed pink insulation sheets. Does anyone have a relatively in expsensive way to get this room up around 70/80% maintained?
