Ok so, apparently i have been reading the wrong section on how to grow with a waterfarm.

i have been searching for the answers but getting alittle annoyed that i cant find anything. I was hoping that someone could clean up some things.

1 - ph - 5.5-5.8? correct?
2- watering cycle - i have clay balls, can i leave it on 24/7?
3- nutirents - these little guys are 1-2 weeks old, and i have been told NOT to give them nutes until they are 3 weeks old. they have devolped brown spots on the leaves.

1. Ph is perfect
2. as long as the roots get oxygen, and dont get dry, its ok to keep the water 24/7
3. yes they're still young for nutes. but im not sure about the brown spots sorry..

what type of lights do u have??

they're in rockwool? if so you don't want to keep the water on all the time cause the rockwool traps water really well and the roots won't get enough oxygen, so that might be why you're getting brown spots

Water farms are great, you probably should have let them grow bigger in a flood and drain before you put them in the farm. Water will splash on the plants all the time and it will always cause the bottom leaves to die. I use the water farm for my mothers only but they do work great. Ph is fine and you can leave it on all day but I think the brown spots may come from the dripping water splashing on the plants. I'm not sure though but its something you should look into, especially when you start adding nutes. Good luck!
